He managed co-ops for 26 years. Anna Mae Mangan was born in LaMoure, N.D., graduated from LaMoure High School and married Amber in 1946. They lived at LaMoure until 1950, then moved to Tolna, N.D. where Amber was manager of the Farmers Union Oil Company. He transferred to Michigan where they lived until 1970. Amber was manager and Anna Mae bookkeeper. They transferred to Grand Forks in 1970, still with the Farmers Union. They lived there until 1972 when they mov­ed to Manvel, N.D., combining farming with managing the Farmers Union in Grand Forks until 1976. Amber is farming and Anna Mae is a licensed realtor working for Century 21 AAA Valley P.*rk Real Estate in Grand Forks, N.D. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary June 19, 1981. They have four daughters, Marilyn, Diane, Cynthia, Jackie and two sons. Daryl is a student at UND, majoring in computer science and business management. Michael is associated with his dad in the farming operation. Diane Loe Diane Loe Diane Loe graduated from MHS in 1968. She received a B.S. degree in medical technology from NDSU in Fargo, N.D. and completed a medical technology internship at Mercy Hospital in Denver. Diane has been working as a chemistry specialist at the Denver V.A. Medical Center since 1972. She completed a masters degree in business ad­ministration from the University of Colorado in 1983. Diane lives in Denver with her Newfoundland, PocoOso. She enjoys skiing, jogging, weight training, photography, baking, cooking and growing plants in her “spare” time. Esther Lovejoy Esther Lovejoy moved from Pelto, N.D. in 1952 with four young children after her husband was killed in a tractor accident in May 1952. Robert was born February 1939 and died at the age of 35 in 1975. He married Linda LaFrance of Devils Lake, N.D, and they have four children. Linda and children live in Minneapolis, Minn. Her oldest, Brenda, is married and they have a son. Sandra married Norman Pederson of McVille, N.D. and has four children. They live in Williston, N.D. Steven was born in 1950. He married Carol Krokeand has three children. They make their home in Argusville, N.D. Sally born in 1942, is married to Gene Jallo. Esther Lovejoy sold her home to Gene Jallo in Michigan, N.D. and now lives in Lakota, N.D. Carol, Steven, Melissa, Michael and Michelle Lovejoy Steven and Carol Lovejoy Steven Lovejoy, son of Sandford and Esther Lovejoy and Carol Kroke, daughter of Thorney and Theresa Kroke. were married at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in 1967. Lav­ing in Minneapolis for three years, they moved to Fargo, N.D. They have three children Michelle, Melissa and Michael. They built a home in Argusville, N.D. in 1977 where Card operates Interstate Truck Licensing. Steven is presently-employed as a hub manager at United Parcel Service is Fargo. George and Minnie McCrae George and Minnie McCrae became Michigan, N.D. residents when George took the position of bulk agent for Standard Oil Company the fall of 1923. George, a sister and four brothers, had come with their parents, Alexander and Margaret McCrae, from Sarnia. Ontario, Canada to work on the Dunlap farm south of Michigan. Later the McCrae’s established their own farm south of Petersburg. Minnie Gebhardt was born in Illinois where her father Emile was a baker having apprenticed in Germany. When their bakery and restaurant burned, Emile, wife Mart, two sons and daughter, Minnie moved west of Larimore, N.D. where they farmed. Emile Gebhardt was a familiar figure in Michigan during the years he made his home with the McCraes. His hobby was playing checkers and his favorite challenger was W.J.
