Summary:Glldmunder Grimson and Ina Sanford Married in 1906 Gudmunder Crimson, who had been admitted to the North Dakota Bar in June, was married in August to Ina Sanford of Milton. Born in Iceland in 1878, Mr. Crimson came to the United States and Milton in 1886. He began teaching school in the Milton community at the age of 16 years. He received his B. A. degree in 1904 and his Masters degree in 1905, both at the University of North Dakota. He studied law, took the bar examination, was admitted and started a law practice at Munich, where he practiced and also published the Munich Hera.d until he was elected states attorney of Cavalier county in November 1910. He served as states attorney and practiced law at Langdon until January 1924. He became widely known throughout the country in 1923 for his part in the Tabert case investigation and prosecution in Florida. He was appointed Judge of the District Court in the Second Judicial District December 1, 1926, and served until September 1949, when he was appointed to the State Supreme -court. He served until his retirement January 1, 1959, having served the last one and one-half years as chief justice. He now resides in Bismarck. Mrs. Grimson died May 18, 1959. There are two sons, Keith, a professor in surgery and engaged in medical research at Duke University Clinic, Durham, N. C, and Lynn, practicing law at Grafton, N. Dak.
