| Summary: | RIKKE AND GEORGE LEUTSCHER Rikke Telander was born November 15, 1887, at Aneta, the daughter of Peter and Ingeborg (Erickson) Telander. She grew up in the Aneta area and married George Leutscher December 10,1910 at Brown County, South Dakota. They lived in South Dakota until his death in 1922 when she moved to McVille until 1932 when she moved to Breckenridge, Minn. She moved to Devils Lake in 1%5 and passed away at the Lake Region Lutheran Home on July 1, 1980, at age 92. They had a son and a daughter, Evelyn, who was born September 15,1911, at Alsen, N.D. Evelyn spent her early childhood on a farm near Tolna, and later attended McVille Public School and graduated from High School there in 1928. She attended Minette's Beauty School, Fargo, and then conducted a Beauty Shop in McVille. Evelyn married Bernie Pelvit, Breckenridge, Minn., in 1932, and they had one daughter, Mrs. Lois Ann (Pelvit) Warren, Baltimore, Maryland. Evelyn passed away February 16, 1942, at age 31 years. His wife Joan 0. (Ruud) was born in Center Twsp. December 2, 1926. They were united in 1947. They lived on the home place farming until December 1975 when they moved to McVille. He now farms with his sons James and Robert. Their children are: James A. Lindvall - born April 12, 1948. Married Susan Whitcomb on June 7, 1%8. They have 3 sons, James, Jr., Jerome and Timothy. They are farming in Center Twsp.; Janice M. Lindvall - born June 22, 1950. Married Wayne Fiebiger on June 25, 1971. They have 2 children: Paul and Lori. They live on a farm near Cooperstown, ND; Robert K. Lindvall - born February 23, 1953. Married Verna E. Paulson, July 19, 1975. They have one son, Benjamin, and live on Home farm in Hamlin Twsp.; Carol L. Lindvall - born May 9, 1958, married Timothy Sorteberg July 23,1977. Have 2 children - Stephanie and Angela. They live in Mayville, ND where he is employed at the American Crystal Sugar Co. at Hillsboro; Dean R. Lindvall - born December 15,1%0, lives at home and farms. JOE C. LILLEOIEN Joe C Lilleoien was born in Lorn, Norway in 1882. He married Bessie E. Bunde in 1920. She was born and raised in Center Township. Joe and Bessiemade their home on a farm in Hamlin Township until they retired and moved to McVille in 1948. Joe passed away in 1%2 and Bessie in 1980. Their five children are: Anna (Mrs. Lyall Dordal), deceased in 1%5. She graduated from Mayville State College and taught school for several years. She had three sons. Lois (Mrs. Lloyd Hanson), attended Mayville State College and graduated from j "fcflr**'-*? i IV; I Joe. C. Lilleoien family I the University of Minn., Duluth. She is currently teaching in the Duluth Public Schools. She has a daughter and a son and resides at 1111 Robin Ave. N., Duluth, MN.; Kenneth, married Helen Aslakson. Passed away in 1972. Lived and farmed in Hamlin Township until his death. Kenneth had one daughter and two sons. Eileen (Mrs. Richard Wilson), attended Mayville State College and graduated from Valley City State College. Is currently teaching in the Jamestown Public Schools. She has two daughters and two sons and resides at 301 14th Ave. N.E., Jamestown, ND; Joan (Mrs. Morris Camrud), graduated from Mayville State College and taught for several years. Is the mother of one daughter and three sons and resides at 2502 Gentry Lane, Billings, Mont. CLARENCE LIPPERT Clarence Lippert was born January 23, 1%4, to Frank and Elizabeth Lippert at McVille. He married Mercedes Suess, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Suess, prominent Jessie farmers, on November 13, 1931. He was associated with his father in the McVille Auto Co. and as a salesman for Greenland Lunde in Auto business in Cooperstown, and insurance business in Nelson and Griggs Counties. They lived for a short while with the Frank Lipperts while in McVille. They were the parents of two daughters, Elizabeth (Mrs. Wallace Boostrom) and Shirley (Mrs. Wadman). After the death of his wife, Clarence later married Agnes Geison at Durant, Oklahoma, in 1943. He was in the implement business in Bisbee and served on the city council for a number of years.
