The Tectonostratigraphy and structural evolution of the Sitas Area, North Norway and Sweden (68°N).

The Sitas area contains rock derived from the pre-Caledonian Scandinavian craton and from an accreted Caledonian fore-arc complex. These rocks form the par-authocthonous (?) Rombak Complex which can be tied stratigraphically to Baltica and three allochthons which from the base upwards are: the Storr...

The Marko nappe contains mafic rocks whose geochemical affinites suggest derivation from both MORB-like and arc-like sources. 35213 Article in Journal/Newspaper Hamarøy Narvik Narvik North Norway NGU Open Archive (Geological Survey of Norway) Norway Narvik ENVELOPE(17.427,17.427,68.438,68.438) Marko ENVELOPE(-60.750,-60.750,-62.467,-62.467) Hamarøy ENVELOPE(15.638,15.638,68.084,68.084) Rombak ENVELOPE(17.791,17.791,68.404,68.404) Storriten ENVELOPE(17.281,17.281,68.119,68.119)
