Summary: | The Nordic Council of Ministers’Knowledge Building and Networking Programme for cooperation with North-West Russia focuses on promoting exchanges of knowledge, experience and skills, as well as creating networks between the Nordic countries and North-West Russia. The programme aims to provide seed money and initiateactivities that will lead to sustainable, long-term partnershipsbetween Nordic and Russian organisations. The Nordic Council of Ministers’ guidelines for co-operationwith North-West Russia have been renewed andextended until the end of 2013. The 2010 budget for theprogramme is just over DKK 17 million. The Knowledge Building and Networking Programme hasbeen running since January 2007. The majority of Nordic projects and other initiativesrelated to Russia are organised by the information officesof the Nordic Council of Ministers in Saint Petersburg andKaliningrad. |
