Summary: | Two new dinoflagellate species, Cribroperidinium complexum and C. erymnoseptum are described from the Kimmeridgian of the Norwegian Continental Shelf and Spitzbergen. The morphotypes described as Cribroperidinium sp. A by Davey (1982) from the Portlandian of Denmark, are thought to be conspecific with Cribroperidinium gigas Raynaud 1978. The holotype of Cribroperidinium longicorne (Downie) Lentin & Williams 1985 has been examined and is discussed. |
