A total of eight oceans are named.; Accompanying material has been reported from some sources consisting of a pamphlet with instructions on the use of the globe: one was issued by Cella in Munich in 1831; another was issued by J.L. Grimm in Berlin in 1832; and a third was issued by Anton Klein in Munich in 1835. It is not known whether this was the same pamphlet reissued or separate publications.; Also available in an electronic version via the Internet at: http://nla.gov.au/nla.map-glob9.
