P(論文) 東南極セールロンダーネ地域のシール岩周辺において裸氷原の消耗量観測を行った。裸氷表面においては年間200-280mm/aの大きい消耗量が観測された。裸氷原上の気温は周囲の雪原より約1℃高かった。裸氷原での大きい消耗量は裸氷の低いアルベドのために昇華が促進されるためと説明できる。裸氷原の生成機構を考察することにより裸氷原を大きく四つの形態に分類した。 Observations of a bare ice field were carried out at Seal Rock in the Sor Rondane area, East Antarctica. A large sublimation rate, 200 to 280mm/a, was observed on the bare ice field. Air temperature on the bare ice was about 1℃ higher than that on the snow surface. The large sublimation rate was explained from the low albedo of bare ice; its value was roughly estimated from heat budget considerations.
