Blue-green algae were more frequently found among these epiphytic algae on mosses in each locality. Among the three localities, Langhovde was the most favorable habitat for the epiphytic algae, as well as the moss vegetation. The epiphytic algal flora on mosses turned out to be poorer than submerged algal flora in the same or similar localities in the Antarctic.
