Dette er en reduksjon i antall ynglinger på 23 % (15 færre ynglinger) i forhold til i fjor. Det nasjonale bestandsestimatet basert på antall ynglinger i de tre siste år viser at det i år er en bestand på rundt 350 voksendyr i Norge, noe som er omtrent på samme nivå som i 2014 og 2015. Utviklingen av antall ynglinger i de ulike rovviltregionene viser at det er region 5 (Hedmark) som har den største endringen i antall ynglinger sammenlignet med fjoråret. I denne regionen er det en nedgang på fem ynglinger sammenlignet med i fjor. I regionene 3, 7 og 8 (Oppland, Nordland, Troms og Finnmark) er det registrert en nedgang på 3 ynglinger sammenlignet med i fjor, mens region 6 har en nedgang på en yngling i forhold til fjoråret. Alle rovviltregionene med fastsatt nasjonalt bestandsmål for regionen ligger over bestandsmålet i forhold til gjennomsnittlig antall ynglinger av jerv de tre siste årene. This is a decrease of 15 reproductions (23 %) compared to the previous year. The population estimate, based on the number of reproductions over the last three years, indicates a population around 350 adult animals. This is on the same level as 2014 and 2015. The most pronounced changes in the number of reproductions, compared to last year, were found in region 5. This region had a decrease of five reproductions compared to the previous year. Region 3, 7 and 8 (Oppland, Nordland, Troms og Finnmark) had a decrease of three reproductions compared to the previous year, while region 6 had one reproduction less compared to the previous year. All carnivore regions with national population level goals for wolverine reproductions have reached or exceeded these goals. © ...
