Description
Summary:Power generation using fossil fuel is an unsustainable way of producing energy to meet the increasing needs of the global populations. It is deduced that fossil fuel will be depleted in less than a centry time. in addition, power generation using fossil fuel also creates the emission of greenhouse gases, which contribute to the rising of global average temperature, the melting of iceberg in the arctic and Antarctic, and thus create disastrous thunderstorm and the rapid rising of water sea level. Government around the world is pouring in huge funds into the research of sustainable, renewable energy to ensure that future energy demand is guaranteed and to reduce greenhouse gases emission. Solar energy has the highest growth among the renewable energy sources. Master of Science (Power Engineering)
