The West Coast Offshore Demersal suite, which occurs in waters > 250 m deep, includes Eightbar Grouper Hyporthodus octofasciatus, Hapuku Polyprion oxygeneios, Blue-eye Trevalla Hyperoglyphe antarctica and Ruby Snapper Etelis carbunculus.
