Education Bibliography: p. 65-71 This report describes a thirteen week internship completed at Menihek High School, Labrador City, Newfoundland to fulfill the requirements for the completion of a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology. Chapter 1 outlines the internship proposal, which includes the rationale for the internship, a description of the setting, duration of the internship, supervision, and the internship objectives. Chapter 2 provides a description of the activities participated in during the internship. These activities included: individual and group counselling, attending workshops, career counselling and development, consultation with community professionals, case conferences, psycho-educational assessments, computer activities, research and reading, and supervision activities. Chapter 3, the research component, consists of a report of the implementation and evaluation of a Solution-Focused Brief Counselling program. The purpose of the study was to measure the effect of the program on goal attainment and self-esteem. Results indicated that there was significant progression towards goal attainment and an increase in the students' self-esteem. Chapter 4 concludes the report with a summary and recommendations.
