Description
Summary:Thesis (M.Ed.)--Memorial University of Newfoundland, 1997. Education Bibliography: leaves 46-50 This internship reports findings on the use of portfolios in the formative evaluation of teachers. Three teachers used portfolios as a means of understanding their own teaching and as a basis of communication with the school principal. The teachers found the use of portfolios empowering and of limited value. The principal viewed the portfolios as a valuable tool in communicating with the teachers about evaluation.
