While doing research for the play, I interviewed my Aunt Winnie Thornhill, of Anderson’s Cove. She was born in 1917 and has since passed away. She talks about her life in Anderson’s Cove (near Stones Cove) and the Riggs and Thornhill family. The interview, about 1:20 in length, was recorded in her St. John’s home on August 8, 1990. I recorded in on cassette but just transferred it to digital after finding it in my basement."
