A small plot of ground used as a garden near the home of Joseph "June" and Ann Fitzgerald. Sometimes referred to as a "kitchen garden" or "small seed garden." Gardens such as these were common in Keels historically, with most families having one as well as more extensive gardens further from town. The practice reveals the relative lack of land suitable for cultivation in Keels, and the necessity for exploiting any available land for subsistence gardening.
