Summary: | A woven lunch basket constructed by Anthony White of Shallop Cove. This basket now belongs to Mr. White's daughter, Jacqueline White Snook, or Flat Bay. This basket was constructed c1970 and the materials used are spruce root, withrod or wild raisin boning, a metal clasp and the basket is coated in linseed oil. Mr. White constructed about a dozen of these baskets, which were sold to workers of the local gypsum plant. |
