She also talks about clothing, transportation, and churches in Caplin Cove. 00:07- 02:23 Clara was born and raised in Caplin Cove, she tells that Caplin Cove is a very small community, she went to school in her community, it was a one room school, she had to go to school by walking, there was school from kindergarten to grade eleven, in Christmas time she enjoyed great time; 02:28- 04:18 she loves concerts, she also loved to dance, fishing, gardening, wood cutting and making boats were the main things people used to do for living, her mother used to knit clothes and also bought clothes from stores; 04:41- 06:03 they used to arrange garden parties, there were meals in the garden parties, people brought all kinds of foods like cakes and cookies in the garden parties, she loved readings, still now she reads books; 06:06-09:00 there were limited cars then, people mostly walked by, people also had horses and carts for the transportation, they had cows, horses and hens, they grew their own vegetables, they grew all kinds of vegetables like potatoes, beans and so on, they had a room in their house which remained very cold in the winter, they used to store foods there, her father had ducks and birds; 09:07- 11:01 people used to play violin, fiddle, her father used to do fishing for living, her mother did gardening and taking care of homes, cooked for them, she had three sisters and one brother, she is the youngest one; 11:07- 13:41 she did not do any jobs, she helped her mother in household chores, cleaned up the rooms, helped in making foods, there was no tall buildings there in Caplin Cove, there were churches in her community- Catholic and United, her mother used to make two dresses every year for her, she had a favorite velvet dress; 13:44- thanking Clara and end of the interview.
