Interview with a woman identified only as Aunt Marn / Patricia. The original recording was made as three separate audio files, and two dates are given for the recordings: 3 August 2001 and 29 August 2004. The following description is not a full transcript: Conversation with Aunt Marn/Patricia Philly Kieley married Bride Walsh (from North Harbour). They had a son Leonard. He was one of the people discover old Johnnie Kieley died in his house at the pond. A sister Eileen, Anna (died very young), John (Kaligia). Johnnie Kieley married Annie Walsh (sister of bride). Their son Ray and Leonard were in the house when old Jack Kieley died. They were down visiting him that night. Elizabeth married Jack Harding. Michael (Bob’s father), Mary (Jack Walsh), Vince (Nora Barron). Bride (Ben Costello) Johnnie Kieley’s mother was Elizabeth (b. 1849). An old lady “Kitty” “Nipper” lived with this family. James & Ella Kieley were Aggie (Kieley) Whelan’s parents Jinny went away and stayed away for years. James & Ella Kieley lived out at the track. He was “Long Jeniny” Kieley in a small house. He mended boots. Tom Kieley and his son Dominic, son Matthew, and daughter Gertrude. He was the one put in jail when Larry Barron was killed when he fell off the train. They said that was where Larry got the shine. Out at Brien’s Stand there was the waiting room, and next the big place where the freight was kept next & that was Tom Kieley and his wife Polly + Dominic + Matthew Jimmy McGrath was the ‘auld sheep’ , married to Elizabeth Duff. Children Kitty and Alice, James Jr. (Aunt Marn said that he had everything the matter with him) crippled, could not speak plainly, could not help himself in any way. John Joy was married to Mary Hennessey & her sister Bridget lived with them. Bridget did ‘sewing’ down on the point. Biddy Buzzer was another sewer. She was Biddy Lewis.
