The Hub is a centre for physically disabled adults in St. John's, Newfoundland. The centre provides social and recreational activities as well as vocational guidance and training through its courses and skills training workshops. Workshops include woodworking; bicycle and wheelchair repair; electronics repair; and printing. The Hub grew out of a centre for the Wheelchair Sports Association; and was developed with the help of government grants. Has a membership of about 150 members and 19 staff; operates four businesses with plans to expand in this area.
