Of course the man and woman put their arms a- round one another, at least in dad and mom's case. Dad used to say to me he was going to give mom a bear hug then he would put his arms around her and kiss her in the kitchen. Mom said there was one of her good male friends who used to give her a ghost kiss (bear hug) along with the other girl who worked in the store.
