I heard the expression just recently when a woman who came home for a visit from New York after an absence of some years and failed to recognize another woman who felt snubbed. "Ah", the older woman said, She don't know me now. But she forgets how many times I put on the tanzy pot for her when the dirty thing stood up for any boy that came along." [3] plant Yes DICT CEN.
