| Summary: | tiddly n Another favourite game I used to play from eight to ten years was TIDLEY (spelled by sound of word). This can be played with one per side or three or four or more if you want but then it becomes impracticable. We usually played this in spring . . . . I will give an illustration of one per side . . . . Equipment for the game consisted of a broom handle or mop handle if available, . . . The handle would be cut in two pieces the mop part being unused. One piece would be about 8 inches long and the other would be the remainder of the handle. Two rocks about the size of turnips or two bricks was the only other necessary equipment.
