Tickle Point and Tickle Bay, North Tickle, Main Tickle, etc. But on the Labrador coast "The Coast Pilot" notes over a dozen places so named, Indian Tick kle, Domino Tickle, Favourite Tickle, Ice Tickle, Jigger Tickle, etc., etc., with the names of other places formed from them as Tickle Island, Dark Tickle Island, George Tickle Head, etc. p. 144 n In Nova Scotia also at Cape Canso, we find a narrow pas passage . know as the Tittle. .We find also on maps of Cape Breton the passage between Scatterie and a neigh- bouring island, called the Tittle Passage.
