Description
Summary:ram's horn n PHONOLOGY for _pew_ Note that the [pjo] = / pyo/ is a "forbidden" phonotactic sequence in English since only [u] follows a sequence of Consonant plus palatal semi-vowel as in _few_, _view_ _cute_ , etc . ( Note however the "foreign" sequence in the borrowed word _fjord_ ) Thus English speakers would automatically change [pjo] to [pju] equals / pyce / or /piw/ or whatever the correct phonemic analysis might be.
