It had a strange taste and as I remember it, not too pleasant but again not unpleasant. I think the nut or berry had a large stone in it, almost taking up the entire space inside the coating. Although I'm not too clear on any of this right now, the plant is still in Hr Grace and I'll try to get a piece of it as soon as possible.
