Note that _rame_ is shortened to _ram_ in the compound noun _ram-line_ (see OED) ,a line stretched from the middle of the stern-post to the middle of the stern and used to line up the frame- work ( i.e. the rames ) of a boat when being built . Note that the OED is unsure of the 'ram' in _ram-line_. Used I Used I Not used This belongs to a series of cards, numbered R_3294 to R_13303.
