Summary:Noel's Night The Micmac Indians of Conne River called Christmas Eve Night "Noel's Night". Every man in the community with the name, Noel, was visited that night. Persons having this name placed three "junks" of wood outside their door. There were three chosen Micmac men who visited each person called Noel. These three men decorated a cross with flowers and on it placed a gift (scarf, handkerchief, etc.) that each Noel would like and wear. . . .
