This boat has been changed somewhat in recent years. For example, this one is built of plank, cut and sawn locally. Today most of these boats are built of marine plywood. The bottom is almost flat, this too has been greatly changed in recent years. The number of _"shoes"_ have been reduced from five to three - this has been done to give greater speed. G. M.
