Summary:old In my grandfather's tradition the people celebrated Old Christmas Day, which was the 12th. of Jan. It was a big holliday but so was the day which followed, which was known as "the Old Twelfth" which was the 13th of the month. Nobody ever said that it was the 13th., it was always the Old Twelfth and it did not mean Old Christmas day; which would be the real Twelfth Day, if they were going by the calender. . . . it has not been observed now for about 20 yrs.
