John Antle and John Pew were two other fishermen of Ht's Content and apparently this verse was made up to torment my grandfather. Incidently, War'n is the way they pronounce Warren in Ht's Content. My grandfather was named John Warren and since my name is also John Warren, they say it to me all in fun. The story behind it actually was true. John Antle did actually get a quintal of fish. John Pew was out to his nets but couldn't look at them because there was too much tide in that area to pull. So he went farther out and jigged some fish. My grandfather was out and looked at his nets but never got anything. When he came in, this was said and it was passed on by word of mouth.
