An example of this is when passing in front of a person, leaving the table etc. The first time I heard "scuse pig" was when I jumped and my 12 year old sister in law said "scuse pig". I got angry with her because I thought she was calling me a pig. She got upset because she couldn't figure out why I was angry because what she said as she thought was the perfectly normal thing to say.
