Would they ever scare children with _Santa_ Claus? G. Oh yes, yes, yes. Lots o' the children were scared of _Santa Claus_ [PT] you know. . (No). They'd be kind o' half-scared of him, you know. They'd tell 'em not to. when _they'd go to bed, not to get out 'cause_ Santa Claus [PT] was comin', see. "He's comin' down through _the chimley!"_ [PT] yes. so they wouldn't get up and watch! what was goin' on! J.
