Summary: | stave jointer I filled up every place around with cooper's lumber and I didn't know the first thing about using it. However I figured that if I were to use staves I must have a _stave_ _jointer_. I studied one belonging to a cooper and made one like it. I could see that if the head must go into a barrel, the chimes must be _reemed_ out so I designed and made a _crose_. I improvised other tools of the trade. Those included _truss hoops_ according to size. I bought a cooper's adze and a pair of _compasses_, the latter for making out heads for the drums. PRINTED ITEM G.M.
