And I went an' I went and went and wentand went, and I dodged here an' I dodged there,and I'd look around,and I (?) and I did. GET .sometimes I'd get a little handier to it,snd more times I'd get away from it and. By and by(IT WOULD) AS,"Bang!" Be right there and you think you could graffLE(Ie grasp? ) at it right in the minute! No,I couldn't find it. And went in the house,and I'd go in the house and 'twas hotter in the house! Sound[ ],you know,funny.And the wife she's just about stiff now! Jees ALL st.ju(st).well,fit to be tied on!A little more (THAT) that, [inc] got a big.big piece o' chain, chain her on! And.sure she had the youngsters made as bad as herself! Anyway,and I said "By God,I'm goin' to find out what it is now! I'm goin' again! " 'Twas dark now; dark as the pitch!I gets out around, I starts (TO) shock(??) around. And by and by I walked right up,sir,past the.a foot of it,and when a (ie it) went,"Bang!" longside o' my feet! "My God," I said,"I got ya!" What d'you allow that was? And sir,you go up and ask she now,you'll say IT'S the queerest sound ever you heard over there, [inc]! Yeah.
