Description
Summary:scull n He always fishes on "sheers", and if fish are to be caught, can catch as fair a "jag" as any man. He predicts the weather by the moaning of the sea, or by the "loam" or "glin" in the atmosphere, and never mistakes a "cat's-paw" that ruffles the water for a "skull" of fish " briching (breaking) the surface. His labour always gives zest to his food, and at the end of his day's work "dough-boys," "jo-floggers," and "lobscouse" disappear to a marvellous amount. PRINTED ITEM DNE-cit W. J.
