scun 2 v _scunnin' about_: In my community this expression is widely used by everybody - men, women and children of all ages - to refer to persons who are always going from one place to another, usually by walking or running, but sometimes also in a car, truck or bicycle. These people are continuously walking or driving back and forth the roads; sometimes going to the store or anything else that keeps them [reverse] on the street (road) instead of being at home. We use it in the context that "he (she) us akways scunning about. When it is used, it is said in such a tone that the person "scunning about" has nothing much else to do or that he may be too lazy to work. DNE-cit Folk Language DICT CEN.
