Summary:jack 1 n All that was necessary to play this game was a sharp pointed knife, usually a pocket knife or hunting knife, and somewhere to stick the knife into, which was usually a pile of soft earth. The game started with a fairly simple throw, progressing to more complex throws as the game went on.
