Well this is what they used to call the jam-block. This is what he was goin' Louis Mousse [PT] used to tell 'em he'd put 'em in _the jam-block_, see! JW. Now Louis used to say this, did he? H. THey used to work like slaves when.Louis [??] would be here! HE LIVE(D).He used to stay (AT) our place a lot. And he had a dog, you OVER. [reverse] know, an' I never opened my left eye till I was four years old. And he said to Pop, he said, "I'll tell you what to do," he said. "Let the dog lick her eye!" An' Pop said, "I'm afraid HE'LL (BLEED?)." He said, "No. (ARSE DAMN US??). No," he said. "AN' HE HOLDED the dog an'. Pop (WOULD) hold me. An' so that's what he did. An he licked my eye open. Yeah. .
