The women.it frightened some of 'em, and the youngsters and (after?) that, everything all over (of alarm??).Take 'em hold, see, wi' his mouth and sna(p).snap 'em together. Oh, they'd screech terrific! They frighten some of 'em nearly.some of 'em they certainly, they'd be put in the room, just little small youngsters, put in clear where they couldn't see you. ((??JW. Would the women be afraid of the Hobby Horse? ??)) W. Some would and some wouldn't. Ones that had.you know, had a-seen un times before, they wouldn't be scared of un. A scattered.scattered young one, perhaps that come into a home, a young woman, never seen ne'er a one, she'd get scared, over un a bit; a lot. get scared a lot more than she would now if she was going to get in bed alongside of a man!
