hair 1924 ENGLAND Vikings 95 Seals have a good many stillborn pups. These are the "cats," whereof the fur is fast. This "cat" fur is apparently the only Atlantic seal fur that will not shed its hair. The cats make excellent white or very pale yellowish fur, immensely thick and warm. All whitecoat fur is of a peculiar woolly texture, impervious to cold, a very different fur from the hair of the old seals- like swansdown, perhaps, as much as anything.
