This was not taught as I would teach my son, so that he would know that it relates to good manners and acceptable behaviour, but instead it was done in a threatening way. We were told over and over again that certain old people can put a spell on'e if you're saucy and brazen' and this spell was in the form of Old Ag which would cause the body to become paralyzed and in agony. 'Aunt Lizzie' and 'Skipper Ned' were two such people who scared the young into Yes Not used Not used Not used old hag This card is marked as being used in the DNE but contents do not appear under any of the entries.
