Den we potatoes(tatees)took the prong and drawed it down over the line from one peg to [PT] the other. We always used a two prong rake. We made the _heal up_ trenches tree feet apart. We used to dig up every second trench and leave the other ones rounded up. Dis was allyin' up the ground. We put the potatoes (tatees) in the ones we dug up. When the tatees came up through the ground we used to put (trew) [PT]_capeln_(caplin) on for fertilizer and den we used to take the mud from the rounded trenches to cover the capeln over. Dis was called healin' the ground Yes DIC CEN.
