hidey [Children's ball-game] [There is no set number,] "Half go on one side of a barn or house (which is clear of fences or the like) and half on the other side. One of the members of team A takes the ball (same size as the one used in tips) and throws it over the barn to the players on the opposite side, all the while shouting "High-de-over" in a sing-song voice. If a player on team B catches the thrown ball . . . the one who catches the ball runs around the barn and tries to "tag" (hit with the ball) as many members of team A as he can. Those players who are tagged must then join team B. . . . Team B then throws the ball to Team A . . .[and so on] . . .[If a player] throws the ball and it strikes his part of the barn and returns to him, he shouts "Rebounder tiddly tounder" [or just "Rebounder"] [reverse] one called "_high-de-over_".
