He appears to have used the name Gold Bird for two different warblers, _W. pusilla,_ and the Yellow Warbler _Dendroica petechia amnicola_ Batchelder. A descriptive note below Parkinson's painting, p1.83, of the Yellow warbler is a quotation from Linnaeus. (see Systematic List, p. 419). There were four skins of 'gold birds' in Bank's keg.
