Summary:gypsy 272. Among the gypsy remedies which are familiar to Mrs. Driscoll, are the following: Minard's linament, or a mixture of kerosene oil and olive oil, applied to the chest. The chest was then covered with red flannel. It was a cure for a chest cold. Fat back pork applied to warts. This was supposed to make the warts disappear within a few days.
