gally "_Galleying_." This word is quite common in Fox Hr. and it means riding or sleighing. I've heard it used by both young an old alike especially during the winter seasons when one can have a "_galley_" on his sleigh down a hill. One child may say to another: "Do you want a galley on my slide?" or a father may say to his child, "Get on and I'll give you a galley." Certainly [reverse] it is a word of delight for children because it means a ride and fun. It can often be a word of frustration for older people who have to do the work of pulling the sleigh around.
