Old house that was frightening. ?M P.Oh Eva and I have gone over to Gorman's.this night in particular - remember old old Jack [there], Mr Gorman? - Well when we got out it was pitch dark.Well we walked down as far as the corner and we didn't know how we were goin' to get home,and Joseph happened to be - my brother,you know - down at the corner and he listened to us,he and Ted Cutler. ?W. Oh yes! ?M P. And after we were there awhile he said,"Aah! Don't be so foolish! I'm here." So then Joseph and I walked down with Eva. And we had the.the old house where my grand-parents lived. ?DP. Gee! I remember that old house! ?MP. .but it's torn down now. I used to be always scared passing that. And it was dark,and when we were goin' along,Joseph.(and) said?? when we got there he said, "_He_ got me! _He_ got me!" And he start(ed) to run ,and I went face and eyes in the mud! Well I'll never forget it as long as I live! "_He_ got me! He got me!" he said. Well. ?DP. He did thatt to me one night,too!
