Summary: | ee G. Unlike _ye_, and some other pronouns we are defining, this has always seemed weak to me. _Thee_ (so far not written up) would demand a structural treatment: forms, senses, negatives, questions, contrast with _you_, _ya_, and _ye_ - in each individual speaker who might employ it. I tried to pin Harold down on this [Reverse] once, and his reply was remembered invitations of old men he once knew, not a Beaumont speaker he could tape- record now. Some people _want_ to believe in this relic form from church services, prayers, and the Bible. = you MS file [check] Not used Not used Not used Checked by Rebecca Nolan on Mon 16 Feb 2015; Reverse of card at E_12968
