Summary:dill1 n The _Dell_ of a motor boat is the hole left in the floor boards. This hole is left in front of the engineroom because this is the deepest part of the boat. The hole is left so that the piggen may be used to dip the water out of the boat. A _Piggen_ is a round tub, usually made out of a ten pound butter tub. About five or six inches were sawed off all the staves (?) except one. This one was shaped into an handle.
